Emilia Torello is a film and theatre actor from Wilmington, NC, which you may recognize as the home of One Tree Hill and many Nicholas Sparks movies. Upon graduation, she plans to continue pursuing her passion for acting. You can spot Emilia in Peacock’s new series Killing It, starring Craig Robinson, and in the feature film Megaboa, produced by The Asylum. She recently had the opportunity to originate the role of Selene in the workshop of the musical RUNT alongside her lovely peers. Emilia is grateful to be closing out her time here at UMiami working under the direction of Pulitzer-Prize winning playwright Nilo Cruz as Siobhan in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. Thriving on collaboration, challenge and creativity, with a passion for both stage and screen, Emilia can’t wait to see where life takes her in the coming years.
