Born and raised in Washington, DC, Queen Griffin is a first-generation American with a passion for raw, nuanced, female-driven stories. Her introduction into the performance world began at age 3—creating original works on her ”Little Tikes” piano. During her conservatory training, she's immersed herself in everything from Molière to Sondheim to Lynn Nottage. Some of her favorite roles include Arsinoé in The School for Lies, The Nurse in Hello Again, and Beth in This Random World. Though she got her start in the theater, what excites her now are gritty (and witty) television shows like Euphoria, High Fidelity, and OITNB—shows with a message about young adult, female empowerment. Queen hopes to continue refining her craft after relocating to Los Angeles, CA, upon graduation.
